Professional digital photography studios and graphic ateliers ask for high quality output devices with the best possible reproduction. In order to make efficient use of the high quality and technical capabilities of film recorders and digital photo printers, the controlling software plays an important role. The MOPS software packages DiaCal, DiaTools, and ChromaTools have been created through a cooperative effort with users in the field.

DiaCal, designed for film recorders produced by CCG, Agfa, and Matrix, measures and adjusts the grayscale balance for the widest variety of positive or negative film types, thus ensuring an optimal match of film recorder to film quality.

DiaTools exposes the most important picture file formats on the above-mentioned film recorders. The user-friendly software selects all relevant film recorder settings and uses the installed values during exposure. All user settings are controlled on the PC. There is no need to press buttons on the film recorder.

ChromaTools prints the most important picture file formats on the following photo printers from FujiFilm (NC300D, NC500, Pictrography 3000, and Pictrography 4000). As with DiaTools, all printer commands are controlled from the PC. Special functions include automatic captioning of the images and an index print of up to 100 images per page.
